Title: Noetic Landscape
Noetic
Landscape is inspired by the “Euler’s” identity equation.
The equation is:
![]()
In the project, by applying the notion of the equation non-mathematically,
the imaginary number (i) is treated as self, equal symbol (=) is treated as
the conduction or the bridge which connects to, or equals to the “whole”.
These three main elements are wrapped by four layers: micro-field, meso-field, exo-field, and macro field.
The intension of the project is to view ever-changing scenery which is triggered by dynamisms of the complexity.
Symbols of binary (0 and 1) and Morse code ( - and . ) are used to create random patterns. These text fields are layered. In order to input and to output the signal, a user can draw a temporary trail which will trigger and call the Morse code text.
Some of the Morse code is inputted as:
.-
-. / .. -- .- --. .. -. .- .-. -.-- / -. ..- -- -… . .-. /
.. -. - . .-. .- -.-. - .. -. --. / .-- .. - …. / .-. . .- .-.. / -.
..- -- -… . .-. … / - ---/ .--. .-. --- -.. ..- -.-. / -. ---
- …. .. -. --.
It means: “an imaginary number interacting with real numbers to produce nothing.”
The project’s attempt is to express my question that if the paradoxical “Euler’s identity” equation might resolve the mystery of mind and identity, and its unseen interactions with undeterminable fields.
